The mission of the Norwela Council, Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
For more than 89 years the Norwela Council of the Boy Scouts of America has been working to prepare today's boys to become tomorrow's men by instilling values
that have grown too scarce in today's society. The Norwela Council of the BSA was established in 1923. It serves a nine-parish region: Bienville, Bossier,
Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine, and Webster.
